Reviews
I typically would never leave a bad review after any bad experience i’ve had, but sadly my kids are truly upset i went to the spca on 7/7 my kids picked out the kitten they wanted and was told my staff we were able to visit as much as we wanted since she needed to be fixed before we could take her home. Finally on 7/14 they called and told me my kitten was ready for pick up but couldn’t get there until the 15th, I get there after worked an overnight and was told that the kitten i thought i had purchased was now the black and white one. after spending a week with my kids visiting the “ grey kitten” now they tell me the black and white one is mine. truly upsetting that not only did they make me feel like i was in the wrong, but being insensitive knowing i was there every other day with my kids visiting a kitten that wasn’t even ours. hopefully this is a learning lesson for them so other families won’t be disappointed. I will never adopt from here AGAIN.
I had the best experience. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. I am in love with Lobo! I think he’s pretty happy too!
Our family of 5 humans and 2 other dogs met and fell in love with this girl, now known as Petunia! The staff was very friendly, informative and knowledgable. Everyone we met, including the volunteers, were working very hard to take care of all the animals there. Highly recommend adopting from this shelter! We absolutely adore our newest friend!
I've called several times to find out how to go about an adoption and how to set up a meet and greet with other dogs with my current dog & see which ones were also kid and cat friendly. No one has reached out. I've even emailed. It seems to me they don't really care or want their animals adopted out what a shame. I had a better interaction with NYC ASPCA for many years. Y'all should be ashamed of yourselves
I am heartbroken. I took a very sweet and very pregnant stray in. I donated $100 towards the kittens care. They aborted the full term kittens and lied to me that she wasn't pregnant, it was a tape worm! I would have fostered them myself if I knew that was their fate. They did get the Mom adopted. I'm just sick over it.
We adopted our beagle from here, they are very community orientated. They were knowledgeable on her behaviors and thoughtful in their answers to our questions and concerns. Would highly recommend visiting for your next pet or donating to them.
I got my two kittens here. Everyone is super friendly. If there's any problems with your animal shortly after adoption, they will help you for free.
They told a 20 year old that literally owns a home in Niagara falls and already has one dog from this specific shelter that he couldn't even meet the dogs. At 20 you can buy a g*n, join the army, own a house, and adopt an actual human. This is blatant age discrimination and a major disservice to the animals and our community. I had to go to Erie county to rescue a dog, took me just 20 minutes. It took 20 minutes to be acknowledged at Niagara spca. The staff is rude and unprofessional. And from what I hear yall have 20 dogs in cages and you actually cared about anomals you would assist your community in adopting fur-ever friends. If your reading this ms. Amy lewis please step down and find another profession that dosn't involve working with the public not to mention Innocents like discarded pets. Remember if you delete this review amy it'll be right back up. This isn't the last you hear from me 😘
